VOLTAS EM CASTELO DE VIDE RÉS VÉS ARTISTIC RESIDENCY
“Voltas em Castelo de Vide” was designed during a ten-day artistic residence (RÉSVÉS) that I participated in Alentejo (Castelo de Vide), Portugal. The goal during ten days was to portray the community and to do something that would interact and improve that small place. Since I am used to spend much time writing and drawing, I chose to do a fanzine embracing these two activities. There I tell what I lived, felt, the people I met, the beauty of the place, the typical expressions of the inhabitants and much more. After the project had been printed, I presented it to the president of the village and to every person interested in getting to know my work. When I returned to Lisbon I exhibited and sold this work in various exhibitions and art fairs.
